Why you should always use electricians...
Electricity can be a dangerous hazard, if you are not trained or have the experience needed to deal with it.
Electricity is used in every aspect of modern day living. Heating, lighting, power sources for televisions, computers, cookers and the list goes on. It is difficult to carry out a typical day with out the help of electricity. Due to the availability of electricity sometimes people can be naive to the extreme power of it. Figures state that in the UK 10 people every year are killed through DIY electrical work, with 750 people seriously injured.
In 2005 the government introduced new laws making it illegal for anyone to carry out major electrical work, without having appropriate qualifications. There are a number of organizations which offer certifications for electricians. These are:

- BRE Certification
- British Standards Institute
- ELECSA
- NAPIT
